Russian Descent on the Islands of the Dnieper Destroyed: Details of a Successful Operation

According to hvylya.net: In the Kherson direction, the military reported that they are maintaining the situation under control and inflicting serious losses on Russian invaders. This was reported by Colonel Oleksandr Zavtonov, spokesperson for the 30th Marine Corps.

At the same time, Russian troops continue artillery shelling in the Kherson region, causing damage to the civilian population. The most affected are Kherson, Bilozirka, and Mykhailivka, where houses, schools, private buildings, and infrastructure were shelled.

'The targets of the shelling remain primarily civilian, not military objects,' emphasized Zavtonov.

Especially tense was the situation on the islands at the mouth of the Dnieper on September 26th. Russian invaders attempted to land infantry groups, but they were spotted by Ukrainian forces.

As a result, two boats with enemy fighters were destroyed. The third boat, seeing the fate of its predecessors, refused to carry out the task and retreated.

Zavtonov stressed that enemy positions on the left bank of the Dnieper are attempting to break through into the rear of Ukrainian forces and complicate logistics. However, all their attempts have been unsuccessful.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to respond successfully to threats and strike at the enemy. Zavtonov called on local residents to be vigilant and to follow the recommendations of the authorities.

With the intensification of shelling in the Kherson region and the landing of enemy infantry at the mouth of the Dnieper, Ukraine continues to stand guard over its independence and defend its territorial integrity.
