Russian strike on Ternopil: 26 dead, rescuers searching for missing

Rescue workers and police are working at the impact sites in Ternopil

The head of the regional council Igor Klymenko reported that all emergency services will work at the impact sites in Ternopil throughout the night. The main task is to find all the victims who may have been left under the rubble.

According to the latest information, reports of 26 missing persons in the ruins have been confirmed, including three children. The death of 26 people due to the fire has also been confirmed, and more than a hundred people have been injured.

In the building where the fire destroyed 2 entrances, not a single intact apartment remains. Rescuers were pulling people out of the windows as the flames engulfed the building. Unfortunately, 19 people perished in the fire.
