While Casey points out that apartments can be found for as low as £150 monthly, rental prices vary significantly depending on the neighborhood, apartment condition, and lease terms.

Expenses and Employment

Regarding daily costs, Casey notes that local Vietnamese dishes cost around £1 (60 UAH), whereas Western-style meals can run up to £4 (238 UAH). Weekly transportation expenses are approximately £20 (1,190 UAH). Leisure activities, which include excursions, badminton, and pickleball, typically cost between £20 and £30 (1,190–1,820 UAH).

Casey works remotely, earning income through social media content creation. Nonetheless, her monthly budget surpasses £300 (around 17,920 UAH), which does not fully cover all expenses. Her rent contribution amounts to £245, representing half of the total rent.

“It’s possible to find accommodation for £150 a month in this area, but that’s not the amount I pay myself.”
