iPhone Duo has arrived for sale in Ukraine: prices and specifications

On October 30, official sales of Apple's first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo, began in Ukraine. After a week of pre-orders for the iPhone Duo, buyers have gained access to a model with two screens and the ability to work with two applications side by side. This is reported by RBC-Ukraine citing ASBIS-Ukraine.

iPhone Duo in Ukraine: what the foldable screen offers since October 30

Externally, the smartphone has a 5.4-inch display, while inside it unfolds into a 7.6-inch Super Retina XDR. According to Apple, its area is 50% larger than that of the iPhone 18 Pro Max. This refers to the area, not an increase in the diagonal by half.

The Split View mode allows two applications or two windows of one application to be opened side by side. For example, you can read a document and respond in a chat without constantly switching. At the same time, the large screen and multitasking do not mean having all the capabilities of an iPad.

Key specifications of the new device:

• A20 Pro processor;
• two 48 MP Dual Fusion cameras;
• titanium body;
• storage from 256 GB to 2 TB;
• available in white and dark blue colors.

The A20 Pro chip is also featured in iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max. In the Duo, two batteries work as one system. The manufacturer claims up to 31 hours of video playback, but this is not an indicator of autonomy under any load.

Sales of the iPhone Duo in Ukraine: what to check before buying

The Duo Preview feature shows the person in front of the camera their image on the external screen. This display also serves as a viewfinder for selfies taken with the main camera. The partially folded smartphone can be positioned at an angle for video calls.

An important condition for buyers: physical SIM cards are not supported, instead, two eSIMs can work simultaneously. Therefore, before switching from an old phone, it's worth checking with your operator the possibility of transferring the number to an eSIM.

The new device is sold by authorized partners of Apple, including iSpace, Comfy, ALLO, Rozetka, and MOYO. Availability of configurations and prices should be confirmed at the store. Several weeks have passed from the presentation of the foldable iPhone to the Ukrainian launch of sales.
