According to glavcom.ua: Ukrainian singer Ivo Bobul shared his impressions of performing in front of world leaders during his career. It turned out that among them were the presidents of occupied territories, including Transnistria. The artist recalled that he also sang for Vladimir Putin in Crimea and Alexander Lukashenko.

Ivo Bobul described his impressions of these performances in his interview, also mentioning performances in support of Viktor Yanukovych. He emphasized that at that time he was not aware of the full nature of political events and went to sing without knowing all the details.

“Before Lukashenko, Putin. They were in Transnistria for 10 years, invited me there. Me and the 'Pesnyari' were there. I don't remember the name of the person, but he was” - admitted Ivo Bobul.

“At that time, I did not know what kind of person he was. He was just a president, he was elected. And I went to sing. Can you still say after that that I am a traitor? Why am I a traitor? What did I do? Among those guys who are now almost heroes, there are those who also sang for Yanukovych... Such was life” - noted Ivo Bobul.

Ivo Bobul shared details of his performances in front of world leaders, emphasizing that at that time he did not fully understand the situation and was simply doing his musical work.
