The government has established new pricing rules for reconstruction: what will change

According to Міністерство інфраструктури: The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has supported a resolution regarding construction costs. The government has approved a document that establishes the rules for determining the cost of construction work for projects financed from state funds. This decision is expected to contribute to the transparency and efficiency of the use of government funds in the construction sector.

The main provisions of the resolution include the establishment of a unified approach to determining expenses and profits, an updated approach to calculating wages, the creation of a Price Database for construction materials, and the introduction of a Codifier for construction products.

“We are reforming the pricing system, focusing on a modern, market-oriented approach, where everything is based on real data and open sources. This will make the cost calculation of construction transparent, provide equal conditions for all market participants, and most importantly – increase trust in the reconstruction processes.”

The new rules will apply during martial law and after its completion, aimed at increasing transparency and fair payment in the construction sector. This is an important step towards improving the conditions for reconstruction and the development of the country.
