Candidate for Judge Received a Delay Due to Marriage to Wife's Sister: Details of the Scandal

The candidate for the position of judge, Oleksandr Vikhrov, allegedly divorced his wife, with whom he raised two minor children, by marrying her sister, who had a small child. Thus, he became a father of many children and received a delay from mobilization. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing member of the High Council of Justice Roman Maselko.

As Maselko said, during the verification of the candidate's compliance with the criteria of integrity, he discovered that Vikhrov received a mobilization delay in a strange way. He married his wife's sister the day after the divorce, and then received a certificate of a father of many children.

It has been established that the candidate received a court decision on divorce from his wife and the custody of two children with him. The very next day (!!!) after the court decision came into effect, he married his wife's sister (!!!), who has a minor child. Immediately after that, he received a certificate of a father of many children and the delay. Meanwhile, the candidate continued to travel abroad with his ex-wife, while the new wife remained in Ukraine,” noted Maselko.

It is reminded that in Poltava region, a court found the father of seven minor children guilty of evading military service during mobilization and imposed a punishment of three years of imprisonment, which was replaced with two years of probation.

As reported, two servicemen for $4,000 promised a conscripted man to influence the decisions of officials regarding his removal from the search in the RTC and SP. It is worth mentioning that in Kyiv, a man was detained who for $15,000-$25,000 was helping to remove men from military registration
