Nazar Domchak, a 19-year-old goalkeeper who came through the Karpaty Football Academy, made his debut for the club's reserve team in Ukraine's Second League in August 2023. He played his first match for the senior squad during the 2025/26 season, appearing in the opening round of the Ukrainian Premier League against Polissia. Over the course of that campaign, he featured in 27 games, keeping clean sheets in 14 of them-a record that earned him a spot among the top three goalkeepers in the league for shutouts. Domchak also debuted for Ukraine's U-19 and U-21 national teams last year.
Babucarr Faal joined Karpaty in the winter of 2026. During his time with the club, he appeared in ten matches, scoring two goals and providing four assists. These performances caught the attention of Czech clubs, leading to his transfer to Viktoria Plzeň.
In the 2025/26 season, Slavia Prague won the Czech league title, securing a direct spot in the Champions League group stage. Karpaty Lviv ended the season in ninth place in the Ukrainian Premier League with 41 points, recording ten wins, eleven draws, and nine losses.
