According to hvylya.net: The new decision made by the Polish Council of Ministers will make the process of obtaining residence permits for foreigners significantly easier. Now foreigners will be able to apply for residence permits online, which speeds up the process and helps avoid fraud.
In particular, Ukrainian citizens who arrived in Poland after February 24, 2022, and are under temporary protection will be able to apply for a residence card valid for up to three years using the new electronic platform.
The government will implement a new electronic system Module Service Matters – MOS II, which will expedite the process of obtaining residence permits and improve information exchange between offices and ABW. This will also help prevent cases of dishonesty.
The changes affect temporary, permanent, and long-term residence in Poland and the European Union and are aimed at simplifying and improving the process of obtaining residence permits for foreigners.
