Kyivan Grows Giant Apple Weighing Over a Kilogram: Record Added to the Registry

According to glavcom.ua: In the center of Ukraine, in the capital, lives a man who has grown an impressively large apple. His name is Yuriy Kozhemyakin, and his fruit weighs over a kilogram and has a circumference of 50 cm! To support such a huge apple, special supports and ties had to be used. It turns out that the secret to success lies in the apple variety 'Jumbo Pom', of French selection.

Yuriy inherited his love for gardening from his mother and grandmother, who instilled in him the feeling and skills for growing impressive fruits. This record achievement was officially recorded in the National Register of Records of Ukraine in the category 'Living Nature'.
