A suspect in the rape of an 11-year-old girl was detained in Kyiv

According to Прокуратура Київ: It became known at the Shevchenkivskyi District Prosecutor's Office of Kyiv about the suspicion of a 22-year-old man from Kyiv in the rape of an 11-year-old girl. According to the investigation, the guy met the schoolgirl through a dating app and invited her for a walk in the park. There he took the child into an abandoned building and committed rape. After this, the victim reported everything to her mother.

Such actions are currently considered as the rape of a person under the age of fourteen, and imply punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of 10 to 15 years. This criminal proceeding is being investigated by Serhii Khodakivskyi, the senior prosecutor of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office.
