According to Главком: Following a series of laboratory tests on water samples taken from the capital's beaches, Kyiv officials have identified six locations that meet sanitary standards, while nine others have failed inspection. The beaches that passed the water quality check include:

• Chortoryi
• Venetia
• Veselka
• Molodizhnyi
• Peredmistna Slobidka
• Tsentralnyi

In contrast, swimming has been prohibited at the following nine beaches, which did not meet the required sanitary norms:

• Galernyi
• Troieshchyna
• Dytiachyi
• Zolotyi
• Raiduha
• Telybin
• Verbnyl
• Pushcha-Vodytsia
• Ostriv Obolon

Sand Restoration and Rising Temperatures

Separately, in December 2023, the municipal company KP Pleso initiated work to replenish the sand cover at local beaches. The last major sand replenishment effort took place in 2021. For example, 432 tons of river sand were delivered and spread at Raiduha Beach, aiming to improve conditions for visitors.
