Russian shelling of Kyiv: one person dead, seven wounded, including a child
Operational information reports that at 04:00 as a result of enemy shelling, 1 person died, and another 7 were injured, including a child. Rescuers managed to save 4 people, including a child and a person with reduced mobility.
Damage to residential buildings
In the Shevchenkivskyi district, a 14-storey residential building was damaged, with apartments on the 4th-5th floors catching fire. The fire was extinguished, and medical assistance was provided to one person.
In the Solomianskyi district, debris fell on a 25-storey residential building, leading to the ignition of the external insulation and partial destruction of the facade. Parked cars were destroyed, but the fire was also managed to be extinguished.
At another address, debris fell on a 17-storey residential building — without subsequent ignition.
There was also a hit on a garage near a residential building in the private sector, where a fire broke out, which is currently being extinguished.
Svyoitoshynskyi district
A hit on the entrance of a 3-storey residential building caused a fire on the 2nd floor. Rescuers saved a child and extricated the body of the deceased. The fire was extinguished, and debris removal is now underway.
Dniprovskyi district
In a 10-storey residential building, a hit resulted in the destruction of the 6th-7th floors. 3 people were rescued from the fire, including a person with reduced mobility. The fire was also extinguished, and the removal of structures is ongoing.
