Kyivzelenbud inflated prices for materials: over 2 million hryvnias overpayment for park repairs

Suspicion of Official Negligence

According to Прокуратура Київ: In Kyiv, an official of the communal enterprise 'Kyivzelenbud' has been informed of suspicion of official negligence. This came as a result of the discovered overpayment for materials during the repair of the park around the Jordan and Kyrylivske lakes. The official's actions have been qualified under part 2 of article 367 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The contract amount for the capital repair and improvement of the park was over 9 million hryvnias. However, in the process of execution, Kyivzelenbud inflated the prices for building materials, resulting in an overpayment exceeding 2 million hryvnias. This case raised concerns about the efficiency of budget funds in the capital.
