According to Главком: The number of fatalities from a missile attack on Merefa has risen to nine, as confirmed on May 4. The latest victim, a man wounded during the strike, succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. Four individuals were killed instantly at the impact site.

The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office provided details on the incident. Spokesperson Valeriia Chirina stated:

“Sadly, a man who was injured in the attack passed away in the hospital today. Doctors fought until the very end to save his life.”
