The Demining Coalition has agreed on a support plan for Ukraine for 2026
Today we have two important pieces of news regarding support for Ukraine in the matter of demining. Firstly, a meeting of the Demining Capabilities Coalition took place, where participants discussed plans for the coming year and confirmed their readiness to support Ukraine. Representatives from 12 countries, NATO, the Ministry of Defense, and the State Transport Special Service approved the Coalition's capability implementation plan for 2026. Major General Dmytro Hereha emphasized the importance of engineering capabilities for Ukraine's defense.
Secondly, over $80 million has been allocated for humanitarian demining in Ukraine at the UMAC 2025 conference in Japan. This is another important step in the fight against mine threats in our country. Such news gives hope for safety and a peaceful future for Ukraine.
