Details of Ruslan Kravchenko's Declaration

According to 5 канал: Following his dismissal, former Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko submitted a declaration that reveals ownership of a house valued at 22.8 million hryvnias, a property featured in recordings by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU). Alongside this, he declared possession of a gas power plant worth 1.1 million hryvnias. The residence, located in Kozyn, spans nearly 300 square meters, with the land beneath appraised at 3.1 million hryvnias. Interestingly, the property is registered under a 73-year-old woman who recently registered as a private entrepreneur.

According to a Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) official, the renovation of this house was overseen by Kropyva, a trusted associate of Kravchenko. Reports from the Anti-Corruption Center highlight conversations about installing security alarms, surveillance cameras, and a fireplace within the property.

  • Installation of alarm systems,
  • Surveillance camera setup,
  • Fireplace arrangements.

Further discussions between Kravchenko and Kropyva involved upgrading household appliances and addressing issues with an ice generator.

Connections to the Agricultural Company 'Svitanok'

Kravchenko's declaration also lists a gas power plant owned by 'Svitanok,' an agricultural firm where his wife is employed. The company is controlled by the Zasukha family, a highly influential clan in the Kyiv region. Oleg Tsapliyenko, a Kyiv Oblast council deputy from the OPZZh party, serves as the firm's director.

Additionally, Kravchenko declared real estate in Dubai valued at $670,000. This property was initially owned by Alina Shkrobanets, the mother of Kravchenko's then-wife. At the time of purchase, Kravchenko was head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration. Following their divorce, ownership transferred to Andriy Keybash, who manages the La Veranda restaurant in Kyiv. Kravchenko and Shkrobanets have been frequently spotted at La Veranda in the company of Keybash.

The assets and their connections outlined in Kravchenko's post-dismissal declaration have attracted significant public interest due to their links with prominent figures in society.

In light of Ukraine's intensified anti-corruption efforts, such disclosures could prompt investigations by relevant authorities. These developments emphasize the crucial need for transparency in the financial affairs of public officials, as citizens demand accountability and integrity from their leaders.

The recent declaration by Ruslan Kravchenko raises questions not only about his substantial assets but also about the ongoing investigations into his dealings. As the NABU probes the 'Carthage' case, it's crucial to explore the connections between his properties and the influential figures involved, shedding light on the broader implications of this situation.
