Today it became known that the former deputy head of the Central Forest Office of the State Enterprise 'Forests of Ukraine' was detained on suspicion of illegal enrichment and failing to declare assets worth more than 38 million UAH. In particular, he was unable to explain the origin of property in the form of expensive cars and significant amounts of cash in foreign currency. The details of this case shocked the public and indicate the necessity of combating corruption in all areas of Ukrainian society.

According to glavcom.ua: Employees of the State Bureau of Investigation detained and charged the former deputy head of the Central Forest Office of the State Enterprise 'Forests of Ukraine'. He is accused of illegal enrichment and failing to declare assets totaling more than 38 million UAH. This was reported by 'Glavkom' with reference to the SBI.
