Former Kyiv City Council deputy notified of suspicion of tax evasion of 12 million
Everyone knows that corruption is a serious problem in our country, so it's not surprising that a new case of tax evasion has emerged. A former deputy of the Kyiv City Council, who is now a lawyer, has been charged with failing to pay over 12 million hryvnias in taxes.
According to preliminary investigation data, the former deputy purchased 48 apartments in luxurious buildings in Kyiv, some of which were sold for 68 million hryvnias, but he managed to evade paying a large sum in taxes.
The prosecution claims that this act qualifies as tax evasion in particularly large amounts, making the case quite serious.
Currently, a pre-trial investigation is underway in this matter, conducted by special investigators in Kyiv.

The Ukrainian City Prosecutor's Office reported that the former deputy of the Kyiv City Council has been charged with failing to pay taxes amounting to nearly 12 million hryvnias. This occurred as a result of his involvement in a scheme for buying and selling apartments in Kyiv.
