Bonus Payments for Utility and Railway Workers

According to Міністерство інфраструктури: The Ukrainian government has allocated 281.3 million hryvnias for bonus payments to workers who carried out emergency repair and restoration work from January to March of this year. Over 4,500 utility and railway workers have now begun receiving additional one-time payments of 20,000 hryvnias for work performed in February. This ongoing support is crucial for maintaining the specialists who keep essential services running amid the ongoing war. From the total fund, 90.56 million hryvnias has been directed to the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development for utility and railway workers, while 190.74 million hryvnias is allocated to the Ministry of Energy for power sector employees.

The list of eligible enterprises has been expanded, allowing an even greater number of specialists to receive this financial support.

We continue to support the specialists working to restore vital infrastructure systems following Russian attacks. For their work in February, an additional 4,528 utility and Ukrzaliznytsia railway specialists have begun receiving a supplementary 20,000 hryvnias. It is important that this pilot project provides such payments specifically to skilled tradespeople who are directly repairing and restoring heat, water, and electricity for the people.
