According to Конституційний суд: Representatives from various fields, including judges, lawyers, teachers, and university students participated in an online lecture about constitutional democracy in the Republic of Korea. The main goal of the event organizers was to deepen the understanding of the mechanisms guaranteeing democratic values through systematic study of various forms of constitutional control.

The lecturer from the Republic of Korea emphasized the importance of the 1987 Constitution for shaping the country’s democratic system and noted that these principles are still preserved today. He also explained that the constitutional court consists of nine judges, each appointed by different branches of government to ensure objectivity and balance.

The lecture was part of a joint project between the Constitutional Court of Ukraine and the National School of Judges of Ukraine, which was launched in April 2022 and aims to expand knowledge in the field of constitutional law in Ukraine.
