Ukrainian Constitutional Court Received an Award in Latvia: Why It Was Honored

According to Конституційний суд: In December 2025, a round table took place between the Constitutional Court of Ukraine and the Republic of Latvia on the topic 'Public Interest as a Basis for Constitutional Review'. Participants discussed the achievements and challenges facing constitutional justice, focusing on issues of public and private interests, the work of constitutional justice bodies, and the implementation of European standards.

Additionally, the judges of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine met with the President of Latvia, Edgars Rinkēvičs. During the dialogue, issues of integrating the Ukrainian legal system into the European space and the important role of constitutional justice in ensuring the rule of law were discussed.
