Treatment of Veterans: what services can be obtained for free

About 973 medical institutions have already signed contracts with the National Health Service of Ukraine and provide veterans with an expanded list of free services. This step is aimed at improving medical assistance for participants of the war and people with disabilities as a result of hostilities.

The agency noted that more than 1000 primary medical care providers have submitted applications for contracts that provide additional funding for services to veterans. Also, in the budget of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs for 2025, more than 127 million hryvnias have been allocated for these purposes.

Among other medical services available to participants of the war are individual treatment plans, preventive examinations, screening for various diseases, psychological assistance, and other procedures.

Thus, within the framework of the experimental project, veterans receive expanded access to quality medical services, which will contribute to improving their condition and help in supporting the health of the veteran population.
