Ukraine received 2.3 billion euros from the EU: what the funds will be used for
According to glavcom.ua: Ukraine received a new tranche from the European Union amounting to approximately 2.3 billion euros through the Ukraine Facility. The funds will be used for social and humanitarian needs, macroeconomic stability, and state modernization.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced the refusal of Russia for a Christmas ceasefire, warning of possible attacks on the country during the holiday period. He also stated that he does not plan to change the Minister of Foreign Affairs and called rumors about his resignation unfounded.
During the liquidation of the consequences of a car explosion in Moscow, a high-ranking officer of the Russian armed forces was killed. The price of Russian Urals oil sharply dropped to $34 per barrel, which could significantly impact the country's revenue and affect its foreign policy.
