Ukraine received 2.3 billion euros from the EU: what the funds will be used for

According to glavcom.ua: Ukraine received a new tranche from the European Union amounting to approximately 2.3 billion euros through the Ukraine Facility. The funds will be used for social and humanitarian needs, macroeconomic stability, and state modernization.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced the refusal of Russia for a Christmas ceasefire, warning of possible attacks on the country during the holiday period. He also stated that he does not plan to change the Minister of Foreign Affairs and called rumors about his resignation unfounded.

During the liquidation of the consequences of a car explosion in Moscow, a high-ranking officer of the Russian armed forces was killed. The price of Russian Urals oil sharply dropped to $34 per barrel, which could significantly impact the country's revenue and affect its foreign policy.

Additionally, with the help of the EU civil protection mechanism, Ukraine received necessary equipment for the repair of a thermal power station from Lithuania, which helped restore the station's operation in several regions of the country.

As a result of receiving financial support from the European Union and other national and international measures, Ukraine gains additional opportunities for development and the regulation of important areas of the country's life.
