Frontline Situation as of July 16, 2025. Summary of the General Staff

According to glavcom.ua: The Ukrainian troops are actively defending against enemy attacks and are striking back in response to attempts to advance deeper into Ukrainian territory. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of July 16 at 22:00, there have been 112 combat engagements.

Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has launched one missile strike and 46 air strikes, using one missile and dropping 63 guided air bombs. A total of 1292 kamikaze drones were also deployed, and there were 4140 shelling attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian troops and civilian settlements.

The most tense situation is in the Pokrovsk direction, where the enemy has suffered significant losses. Ukrainian forces have eliminated 207 occupiers, including 129 dead, a tank, drones, and other military equipment. Active fighting continues in other directions as well, with Ukrainian troops repelling assaults and thwarting several enemy attacks.

The war in Ukraine has been ongoing for 1239 days, but the Ukrainian forces continue to effectively defend their territory against the aggressor and inflict retaliatory losses on the enemy.
