Frontline situation as of July 2, 2025. Summary of the General Staff
According to glavcom.ua: As of July 2 at 22:00, 140 combat clashes were recorded. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are fighting to disrupt the plans of Russian invaders and exhaust their combat potential, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
During the early hours, enemy forces launched two missile strikes and 50 air strikes, using seven missiles and 60 guided aerial bombs, as well as employing 1206 kamikaze drones to attack the positions of Ukrainian troops and civilian sites.
Latest news from the front
The situation in the Pokrovsk direction is the most acute. Over the past day, our troops eliminated 124 and wounded 87 occupiers, destroyed 13 motorcycles, two guns, six drones, three satellite communication terminals, and other enemy military equipment.
In the Severo-Slobodsk and Kursk directions
In these areas, the enemy carried out 11 attacks, one of which continues to this day. Nine air attacks were conducted, 19 guided bombs were dropped, and 337 shellings were carried out.
In the Yuzhno-Slobodsk direction
Today, enemy forces attacked the areas of Glubokoye, Zelenoye, Vovchansk, Milovoe, Ambarnoe, and near Mitrofanovka 19 times, with three combat clashes ongoing.
In the Kupiansk direction
The enemy attacked our positions in the areas of the settlements of Stepovaya Novoselivka, Kolesnikovka, Zagrizovoe, Zeleny Gay, and in the direction of Petropavlivka nine times, with two combat clashes continuing.
Messages from the front of the Ukrainian war reflect the intensity of hostilities, during which the Ukrainian army actively operates against enemy forces. The situation remains tense, but Ukrainian forces continue to defend the territorial integrity of the country.
