Frontline Situation Report for July 22. Summary from the General Staff

According to glavcom.ua: As of July 22 at 22:00, there were 131 combat confrontations. Defense forces are focusing their efforts on disrupting the plans of Russian occupiers and exhausting their combat potential. This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The enemy launched one missile strike and 51 air strikes, used one missile, and dropped 66 cluster bombs. Additionally, 1218 kamikaze drones were employed, and 4094 shellings of populated areas and our troops' positions were carried out.

The highest number of offensive actions by the enemy occurred in the Pokrovsk direction.

In the South Slobozhansk direction

The enemy attempted to storm our positions near the settlement of Zapadne.

In the Kupiansk direction

Ukrainian defenders repelled three attacks in the Kupiansk direction in the areas of Holubivka, Stepova Novoselivka, and Zahrizove. Currently, fighting is ongoing.

In the Lyman direction

Ukrainian warriors stopped seventeen attacks by the occupiers in the areas of Hrekivka, Kolodiazi, Zelenyi Dolyna, Myrne, Yampolivka, Torsk, and towards Serebrianka; four combat confrontations are still ongoing.

In the Siversk direction

The enemy conducted four offensive actions in the vicinity of Hryhorivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction

Our defenders stopped one attempt by the occupiers to advance in the area of Chasovyi Yar.

In the Toretsk direction

Today, the occupiers stormed our defenders' positions twelve times in the areas of Diliivka, Toretsk, Oleksandro-Kalinove, and Rusynyi Yar. The defense forces are holding the line firmly and repelled ten of the enemy's assault actions; two confrontations are still ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk direction

The enemy made 61 attacks. The occupiers attempted to advance near the settlements of Poltavka, Novotoretske, Novoekonomichne, Myrolubivka, Promin, Lisovka, Novoukrainka, Zvereve, Udachne, Zelenyi Kut, Darnytsia, and Alekseevka. Eight combat confrontations are still ongoing.

In the Novopavlivsk direction

Ukrainian units stopped five attacks by the occupiers near the settlements of Voskresenka, Yalta, Piddubne, and Zelenoe Pole.
