The summer offensive of the Russians has failed: ISW analysts named the reason

According to glavcom.ua: The situation in eastern Ukraine looks such that the Russian summer offensive is gradually slowing down. Although the enemy launched strikes with rockets and drones, their advance has now stopped. Analysts believe that the Kremlin has no opportunity to start anything fundamentally new, so the summer offensive is merely a continuation of last year's campaign. Hostile actions in Ukraine, particularly in the Kharkiv and Sumy regions, are not leading to serious breakthroughs.

“Currently, the Russians have no opportunity to start anything fundamentally new. The summer offensive will be merely a continuation of what they were doing in spring,” noted ISW analyst Angelika Evans.

Let us remind you that the commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, pointed out the delay in enemy attempts of the summer offensive in the territories of the Kharkiv and Sumy regions. The Russian army cannot make a breakthrough in eastern Ukraine but continues to conduct ground operations and airstrikes.

According to a comment from the commander of the Estonian Armed Forces' Intelligence Centre, Russian losses in Sumy exclude the capture of the entire region, and the army's tactics in Ukraine consist of storming the positions of Ukrainian troops.
