Interior Minister Vladislav Kondratovich has stated that Russia may be planning hostile acts or provocations targeting facilities in the Baltic states. As a result, Lithuania is ramping up its preparedness and defense of critical infrastructure sites.

According to a report by 'Glavcom', citing the public broadcaster LRT, the Public Security Service will be responsible for the physical protection of strategic facilities.
