Lucas Vazquez transfers to Bayer: contract signed until 2027

According to glavcom.ua: Spanish footballer Lucas Vazquez has transferred to 'Bayer'. According to 'Glavkom', the 34-year-old midfielder signed a contract with the Leverkusen club.

The deal with Vazquez is set to last until June 2027 and was made on a free agent basis. The player finished his cooperation with Madrid 'Real' after the 2024/25 season.

«I'm looking forward to continuing my journey at 'Bayer', a club that Xabi Alonso and Dani Carvajal have told me a lot about. 'Bayer' is aimed at winning and striving for the highest goals. This approach matches my own vision,» Vazquez shared.

During his time at 'Real', Vazquez won 23 trophies, including five Champions Leagues and four championship titles in the Spanish league. He played 402 matches for the Madrid club and scored 38 goals. He also debuted for the Spanish national team.
