Real Madrid goalkeeper and Ukraine national football team player Andriy Lunin caused outrage online for using the Russian language when asked to pronounce the word 'half' in a video published by the club's press service on July 8.

In the video, players from Real from other countries had to pronounce the word 'half' in their native languages. Lunin pronounced this word in Russian - 'polufinal', without using the Ukrainian language. The club's press service captioned all players using the Ukrainian version of the word.

Users online criticized Lunin for being unable to pronounce a single word in Ukrainian.
