Starlink has gone down along the entire front line: communication is gradually being restored
The Commander of the Drone Forces, Robert Brovdiy, with the call sign 'Madyar', reported that Starlink has gone down along the entire front line. This was reported by 'Glavkom' referencing the military's post on Telegram.
'Starlink has once again gone down along the entire front', - the message states.
According to the Downdetector service, issues with Starlink are being observed not only in Ukraine. Brovdiy added that as of 08:02, the operation of Starlink is gradually being restored.
Alternative solutions in case of Starlink disconnection
As former Defense Minister Rustem Umerov reported, in case of Starlink disconnection, Ukraine has an alternative. It is worth noting that Ukraine received 5,000 additional Starlink terminals from Poland. They are expected to ensure uninterrupted communication in areas where it is most needed.
Additionally, earlier the U.S. State Department approved the sale of Starlink satellite communication services and Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine. At the request of the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers, the U.S. will provide engineering, technical, and logistical services for the Starlink terminals.
Ukrainian military reported that Starlink temporarily disconnected on the front, but efforts to restore communication are already underway. There are also alternative technologies in reserve, such as additional Starlink terminals received from Poland. It is worth noting that the U.S. supports Ukraine in this direction by providing necessary services and equipment to ensure uninterrupted communication at the front.
