According to glavcom.ua: According to this document, the IAEA will act as a guarantor to ensure safety during the completion of the construction of additional units at the Khmelnytsky NPP.

During the Conference on Ukraine's Recovery in Rome, a meeting took place between the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi. In the presence of Volodymyr Zelensky, the Minister of Energy of Ukraine Herman Halushchenko and Rafael Grossi signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the IAEA and the Government of Ukraine regarding cooperation for the support of Ukraine's recovery. This was reported by 'Hlavcom' citing the President's Office.
Moreover, the Memorandum secures support from the IAEA in exploration, extraction, and production of uranium resources in Ukraine. It should be noted that the Russian Federation plans to launch up to a thousand drones a day across Ukraine. However, Ukrainian engineers have found a solution to shoot down 'almost all' drones. This was reported by 'Hlavcom' quoting President Volodymyr Zelensky.

According to our state's leader, Russia aims to destabilize Ukraine with prolonged air alerts and attacks. At the same time, Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine 'will respond'. 'The second story is that they have a plan for a thousand drones... 700-1000 drones a day. Now, if our partners listen to everything I discussed with them - we will shoot them all down,' he said.

During his working trip to Rome, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with representatives of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), signing an important Memorandum that will facilitate cooperation in the energy sector and the safety of the country. It was also noted that support for the extraction of uranium resources and the implementation of measures to protect against drones that may pose a threat to Ukraine was discussed.
