Pompeo's Kyiv Trip Coincides with Ukrainian Strike

According to ХВИЛЯ: Former U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo arrived in Kyiv on the night of February 25, coinciding with a Ukrainian missile strike on Russia's Votkinsk Plant. This facility is known for producing Iskander and Yars missiles, as well as components for the Oreshnik system, with a strike range of up to 1500 kilometers from Kyiv. The attack on the workshop was confirmed on February 25. Pompeo's visit underscores the ongoing geopolitical significance of Ukraine's defense industry, which has become a critical front in the conflict.

During his Kyiv trip, Pompeo gave an interview recorded ahead of the fourth anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion. Since November 2025, he has served on the supervisory board of Fire Point, the manufacturer of the Flamingo missiles. In his interview, the former Secretary of State noted that the company has developed impressive technology and done tremendous work.
