The government is changing the leadership of Energoatom: what awaits the company

The Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture, together with partners from the G7 countries, is preparing to present the new composition of the Supervisory Board of the 'N AEK Energoatom' joint-stock company. According to the instructions of the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko, work has already begun on the lists of potential candidates, and the advisor consulting the Ministry of Economy has already been identified.

Strengthening the functions of the Supervisory Board

In order to ensure effective strategic development and crisis management during wartime, the Supervisory Board of the 'Energoatom' company plays a critical role. The renewal of the Council's composition aims to enhance the effectiveness of activities and improve cooperation with regulatory authorities and the company's internal divisions.

Audit of 'Energoatom'

In addition, the State Audit Office has begun an audit of the 'Energoatom' company in connection with information that became known through the National Anti-Corruption Bureau. After the audit is completed, the materials will be transferred to law enforcement agencies and anti-corruption institutions, and the report will be submitted to the government.

The work on the new composition of the Supervisory Board of the 'N AEK Energoatom' joint-stock company is in an active phase, which should contribute to increasing control and security in the state energy company.
