Former owners of PrivatBank must pay 3 billion: court ruling

According to nbu: The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine expresses genuine satisfaction with the decision of the High Court of England regarding the case involving PrivatBank. According to this ruling, the former owners of the bank must reimburse it over 3 billion US dollars for damages and legal costs.

The principal amount of damages is approximately 1.8 billion US dollars, plus interest and covering PrivatBank's expenses. The appeal has been rejected, so the amount must be paid by November 24, 2025.
