Minister Kravchenko Awards Certificates to Small Business Support Program Participants Amid War

Meeting with Beneficiaries of the 'Own Business' Grant Program

According to Мін. Економіки: On the eve of Entrepreneur's Day, Economy Minister Oleksandr Kravchenko met with recipients of the 'Own Business' grant initiative and presented them with certificates. This program plays a crucial role in sustaining small businesses throughout Ukraine during the ongoing conflict. Since its inception four years ago, over 43,000 Ukrainians have received financial support, with the government investing nearly 12 billion hryvnias. This funding has helped generate more than 60,000 new jobs nationwide.

Recognized Entrepreneurs and Their Projects

The awarded participants represent a wide range of industries, including:

• Anastasiia Averina, who secured a 100,000 hryvnia grant to produce the cultural and educational book 'PYSANKY.REBORN'.
• Vadym Kononov, receiving 499,920 hryvnias to launch a vehicle maintenance service.
• Sofiya Soloviova, awarded 500,000 hryvnias to establish a children's entertainment room.
• Mykola Slyusarchuk, granted 500,000 hryvnias to start transporting bulk construction materials.
• Olha Tolkunova, who obtained 350,000 hryvnias to expand clothing and textile accessory production.
• Vira Bezsmertna, supported with 350,000 hryvnias to scale up cosmetic services.
• Snizhana Kulyk, receiving 499,000 hryvnias to open the psychological center 'The Power of Your Self'.
• Rostyslav Humeniuk, awarded 500,000 hryvnias to produce plastic parts using 3D printing technology.

The program also includes over 3,500 veterans and their family members among its participants. 'Own Business' embraces entrepreneurs from frontline communities as well as those who have relocated to other cities due to the war. This initiative provides Ukrainians with vital opportunities to rebuild their livelihoods and contribute to the country’s economic resilience during challenging times.
