Zelensky and Starmer Prepare for Meeting: What Was Agreed in the Government

According to МЗС: Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha, along with the Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Ihor Brusylov and the Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom Valerii Zaluzhnyi, held a meeting with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom's advisor on national security Jonathan Powell.

During the meeting, they discussed paths to a just and comprehensive peace, ways to increase pressure on Russia. Andriy Sybiha also reported on the results of the G7 ministerial meeting in Canada and expressed gratitude to the United Kingdom for its support and leadership, particularly within the Coalition of the Willing.

'We discussed preparations for the meeting of our leaders, President Zelensky and Prime Minister Starmer, to advance our century-long partnership. I also informed about the Government of Ukraine's reaction to recent corruption investigations, as well as President Zelensky's firm and principled stance on the necessity of full accountability.'

During the meeting, important issues of cooperation and support between Ukraine and the United Kingdom were discussed, as well as the importance of joint efforts to ensure peace and stability in the region.
