Cyprus to Lead the EU Council: What Common Priorities Were Discussed by Ukraine and the Island State

According to МЗС: The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha held a meeting with his colleague from Cyprus Konstantinos Kombos. During the meeting, they discussed common priorities for Cyprus's presidency in the EU Council and signed an agreement to enhance cooperation between our countries. They also discussed the situation on the frontline in Ukraine and thanked Cyprus for its support during Russian aggression.
As a result of the meeting, the Ukrainian and Cypriot foreign ministers confirmed their readiness to cooperate and support each other on the international stage, which is an important step towards strengthening friendly relations between our countries.
