Sibiga: Ukraine can produce 20 million drones next year

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga called on partners to increase pressure on Russia and support the Ukrainian defense industry. He emphasized the need to stop living in illusions and make the enemy get rid of them as well.

The minister believes there are two key factors that will compel Putin to stop the war: the understanding that victory on the battlefield is impossible, and the cost of war exceeding the cost of ending the conflict. Achieving these goals requires a collective effort from the international community.

The modern arms race is about mass production of drones, not nuclear missiles. The rapid development of the Ukrainian defense industry can ensure peace in the world. This requires sufficient funding to produce up to 20 million drones by next year.

Sibiga also emphasized that Ukraine must catch up with resources and technologies to have an advantage in the race against time and force Putin to stop the war.

The foreign minister called for joint efforts to compel Russia to end the conflict and to support the Ukrainian defense sector to ensure peace in the region.
