The Ministry of Defense offers a unified platform for interaction in demining

According to hvylya.net: The Ministry of Defense proposes to use the Training and Testing Complex UTTC as a basic platform for mine action in Ukraine. According to Colonel Olga Drobot, this complex, created with the funds of the Ministry of Defense, will provide new formats of cooperation between various authorities, donors, and manufacturers in the field of humanitarian demining.

'UTTC, as a logistical, training, and communication hub, is already forming an ecosystem of training grounds where technologies will be tested, people will be trained, and ideas will be implemented,' emphasized Olga Drobot.

During the meeting dedicated to coordinating mine action in Ukraine, issues regarding the use of virtual reality to warn about the risks of explosive items, methods, and initiatives for underwater demining, as well as the idea of creating a unified system for training specialists in humanitarian demining were also discussed.

According to the ideas of the Ministry of Defense, the use of UTTC can become a key step in improving mine action in Ukraine and contribute to more effective coordination among various sectors and government management structures.
