According to Главком: Ukraine's Ministry of Social Policy has broadened its support framework for internally displaced persons (IDPs). Under the revised measures, the payout period for the most vulnerable categories of displaced individuals has been extended from 24 to 30 months. Specifically, housing assistance for children under 6 is now granted regardless of the family's income level. Children aged 6 to 18 qualify for aid if they:

• Reside in active combat zones
• Live in safe areas and attend local educational institutions

Assistance for People Unable to Work

Regarding support for non-working individuals, in 2026 the income threshold for pensioners and people with disabilities will be set at 10,380 UAH per person. This change will enable more people to access needed financial aid, reflecting current economic realities.

• In person at a Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU) service center
• Through an authorized local council representative
• Via a Center for Administrative Services (TSNAP)
