The Ministry of Veterans opens support centers across Ukraine: what they offer to veterans
According to hvylya.net: The Ministry of Veterans Affairs has begun creating 'Veteran Care Spaces' in state health care institutions. It is noted that these centers will provide various support to veterans, including counseling, rehabilitation, psychological, and legal assistance.
What does 'Veteran Care Space' mean?
These are special centers that operate on the principles of accessibility and provide a wide range of services: from information about support and social guarantees to psychological support and assistance in labor rehabilitation.
International cooperation and development
According to the Ministry, 10 'Care Spaces' have already been opened in five regions of Ukraine, and 30 such centers are planned to be opened. More than 1600 specialists are involved in supporting veterans, of which nearly 100 are in medical institutions.
The Ministry continuously improves the operation of these centers by involving experts for analysis and support. Among the key development areas are international cooperation, experience exchange, geography expansion, cooperation with the private sector, and the use of modern technologies.
The Department of Veterans intends to establish a system of assistance for verified specialists to support ATO participants and their families. An increase in the quality of support provided is expected in case these individuals need medical assistance or socio-legal support.
