Customs revealed a network of fake charitable organizations-smugglers

According to hvylya.net: Since the beginning of 2025, the State Customs Service of Ukraine has recorded an increase in the number of attempts to illegally import vehicles into the country, presented as humanitarian aid. According to customs, such cases usually aim to import cars without paying customs duties for further resale.

Several organized groups have been identified, which committed illegal actions under the guise of charitable organizations. The organizations used volunteer status to import several thousand cars for resale in Ukraine, while customs clearance went smoothly. The legal founders of such organizations often had a criminal past or resided in temporarily occupied territories.

The increase in attempts to illegally import cars under the guise of humanitarian aid is a serious problem for the national security of the country. Monitoring compliance with customs regulations and identifying such schemes is an important task for Ukrainian customs officials.
