MON revealed the top popular specialties among applicants
According to 'Hvylya', Deputy Minister of Education and Science Mykhailo Vinnytskyi reported on the most popular specialties among applicants for the next academic year.
Currently, applicants have submitted about 580 thousand applications for participation in the competitive selection. Traditionally, the most popular are law, management, and philology.
It is noted that the number of budget places for these specialties is limited, and only those applicants who score high competitive points will be able to receive state grants.
Applicants show interest in new specialties
In addition to the traditionally popular fields, applicants are also showing interest in specialties that previously did not make it to the top. 'Psychology', 'Medicine', 'Engineering', and teacher training are becoming increasingly attractive to young people,' noted Mykhailo Vinnytskyi.
A total of 410 thousand personal accounts have been created by Ukrainians for admission to universities. Applicants actively submitted applications, but they leave the possibility to continue this process until the deadline of August 1.
In 2025, there is a noticeable increased interest in new specialties such as 'Psychology', 'Medicine', 'Engineering', and teacher training for university admission in Ukraine. This reflects changes in the choice of future professions by students, who have expressed a desire to try something new and interesting, which opens up wider opportunities for development and career growth.
