According to Главком: The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia has announced a wanted notice for Denis Kapustin, the founder and commander of the 'Russian Volunteer Corps', following a statement from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Armed Forces about the staging of his death. This decision is a repeat, as Kapustin was first announced wanted in 2023.
Denis Kapustin has already been sentenced in Russia to life imprisonment for:
- treason,
- organizing a terrorist group,
- training for carrying out terrorist acts.
He is also involved in a case concerning the invasion of the Bryansk region, which occurred in March 2023. Reportedly, Russian intelligence services ordered his assassination, allocating half a million dollars for it.
