According to glavcom.ua: The International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) has annulled the results of the Vietnamese women's team at the U21 World Championship. This was reported on the FIVB website, according to Glavkom.

The Volleyball Federation of Vietnam fielded a player who is not eligible to compete for the national team.

"The Disciplinary Committee subcommittee of the FIVB ruled that the results of the matches involving this player are annulled, and he is immediately disqualified," the statement said.

Sanction against the Vietnamese team

As reported by Jakarta Globe, the Vietnamese team was penalized for having two players identified as male participate in the tournament. This was revealed through gender tests conducted at the request of the opposing team, which suspected a violation.

The Volleyball Federation of Vietnam appealed to the FIVB after the disqualification of its players.
