Rostyslav Starodub’s Death in Combat

According to Главком: On June 7, 2026, Ukrainian serviceman Rostyslav Starodub lost his life while defending his country, having served since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion. He was a member of the Regional Directorate of the Territorial Defense Forces East, part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and carried out missions in the Donetsk and Luhansk sectors.

His Life and Education

Born on April 18, 1971, in Lviv, Starodub attended Taras Shevchenko Secondary School No. 44 and later studied at the Technological Professional College of Lviv Polytechnic National University. After completing his education, he worked at the subsidiary of the private joint-stock company Koncern-Electron – Television Plant Electron, as well as in the woodworking sector at private enterprises.

Following his death, Starodub was laid to rest in the cemetery of the village of Pidhaychyky in the Zolochiv district. He is survived by his mother, brother, and extended family, who will remember him as a heroic defender of Ukraine.
