The death of a 'Plast' participant in the war

According to glavcom.ua: Recently, Roman Orishchenko died in the war, he was an active participant in the Plast movement. He went through all stages of training and held various positions in the organization, starting from the time of the founding of the branch in Cherkasy and ending with the position of co-chairman.

This military man ended up on the front lines in February 2022 as the commander of a platoon of the 72nd brigade in the north of Kyiv. His comrades describe him as a devoted and determined fighter who was always ready to defend his brothers in arms.

Roman did not leave the trenches near Ugliadar... He always faced the toughest challenges and overcame them with victory

Orishchenko was actively involved in the Plast movement and took the pseudonym Orlyk. He commanded a company and played an important role in educating the youth. It is also known that Roman was one of the initiators of the Maidan Self-Defense, for which he was awarded the 'For Courage' medal.

When most went to war as volunteers, he stayed... Great hopes were placed on him in Kyiv. He decided to obtain a military education and prepared for defense in case of a full-scale invasion

In addition to Roman Orishchenko, fighters from the 92nd separate assault brigade, a military journalist, and another serviceman also died.

Ukraine has lost one of its most devoted defenders who did much for his country and the Plast movement.
