A student of Taras Shevchenko Kiev National University died at the front. Let's remember Vadim Pakhomov
According to glavcom.ua: Every day at 9 a.m., Ukrainians honor the memory of those who died in the Russo-Ukrainian war. Today we will remember Vadim Pakhomov.
Vadim was a fourth-year student of the Faculty of Psychology at Taras Shevchenko Kiev National University, who died in battle on June 25, 2025, in Sumy region from an enemy drone attack.
He went to war as a volunteer under the call sign Baloo, known for his reputation as a kind, strong, and reliable person. Vadim was also distinguished by his creativity and passion.
According to testimonies from his friends and acquaintances, Vadim was a person with an open heart, a bright mind, and deep inner light.
His comrades recall conversations during power outages, when they climbed to the roof of the house to discuss life issues. They also remember the joyful moment when Vadim proposed to his fiancée.
The student self-government of the Faculty of Psychology emphasizes that for them Vadim is a Hero, and they express their condolences to his family. His bright memory will remain forever in their hearts.
A farewell to Vadim will take place on Thursday, July 3, at 10:30 a.m. at the Saint Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery. We invite everyone to honor the memory of the fallen together with us.
Let us together remember all Ukrainians who lost their lives in the war for our homeland. Eternal memory to the heroes!
